At the start of 2020, I came up with the idea to make a forum system in Laravel. Not only to learn more about the framework, but also about web development as a whole.

Within just half a year, I already managed to make a working version that does everything what you expect from a forum website. From chatting and posting about all kind of topics, to managing the content using the admin and moderator tools. It has everything you need.

While the code isn't perfect and could be better (I definitely would have done things differently if I would make it now), I learned a lot from it and am happy with how it looks.
